Shipping policy

The Paper Warbler LLC is located in Minnesota, USA. Our notebooks and journals are handcrafted with pride. Each one is printed, cut, and bound in-house with care. All orders are shipped from Minnesota, USA. 

Our standard processing time is 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), regardless of the shipping option selected. Processing time may be extended during product launches, sale periods, and seasonal rushes due to increased order volumes. 

It is important to note that the processing time refers to the time it takes to prepare your order for shipment, separate from the shipping time itself. The shipping options specifically pertain to the shipping service provided by the postal carrier and does not affect the processing time of your order.

Lost or Stolen Packages
Should you encounter any issues with a lost or stolen package, please contact us through our Contact Form so we may file a claim with the carrier. Please include your name and order number. Please note that it is not uncommon for carriers to mark packages as delivered a day or more before the package is actually delivered. 

IMPORTANT: Please verify that your shipping address is correct at checkout before submitting your order. The customer is responsible for paying any reshipping charges if an incorrect shipping address is entered at checkout. 

 

Damages, Defects, or Wrong Items 
If your item(s) arrived damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item(s), please contact us by filling out our Contact Form within 7 days of delivery so that we can do our best to resolve the issue. Please include your name, order number, and a detailed description of the issue. Please also have 3-5 photos in various angles available to submit upon request. We cannot process a request if the product has been written in or used. Do not return any items without prior authorization. 

 

International Customs and Import
International customers are responsible for paying any customs and import duties, fees, tariffs, and taxes. Orders shipped internationally are Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) or, more officially, Delivered At Place (DAP) and therefore do not include any customs and import duties, fees, tariffs, or taxes.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country and can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. The Paper Warbler is not responsible for any shipping delays or item(s) held in customs. Please contact your local customs office for more information. 

If any package is refused, unclaimed, or returned to sender due to customer error (i.e. incorrect shipping address) they will be issued as "return to sender" and the customer must wait for the package to be fully returned for it to be reissued. Reshipping will be at the customer's expense.
